DMARC Record Generator

Generate a valid DMARC TXT record for your domain to prevent email spoofing.

Free DMARC Generator: Protect Your Domain Instantly

Email spoofing and phishing attacks cause massive damage to brand reputations globally. Fortunately, protecting your domain is straightforward when you implement robust email security protocols. By utilizing a reliable DMARC generator, you can instantly build the exact technical DNS records required to secure your outbound communications and enhance your overall inbox deliverability.

    What is a DMARC Generator?

A DMARC generator is a specialized tool designed to create custom Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) records. Essentially, a DMARC record acts as a set of rules published within your domain’s DNS settings.

When you use a generator, it builds a precise text string (known as a TXT record) that explicitly instructs global receiving servers on how to evaluate emails sent from your domain name.

    Why Manual Record Creation Fails

While it is technically possible to type a DMARC string manually, minor syntax errors will completely invalidate the file. If a single character or semicolon is misplaced, global mailbox providers like Google and Yahoo will ignore your security rules entirely. Consequently, using an automated generation tool eliminates user error and ensures flawless deployment.

How to Deploy a DMARC Record

Setting up email protection involves a logical series of actions. Follow these sequential steps to generate and publish your new security rules correctly.

1.Ensure SPF and DKIM are Active:Prerequisite.

Before using a generation tool, verify that your Sender Policy Framework (SPF) and DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) are working correctly. DMARC relies heavily on these underlying protocols to function.

    2.Configure Your Policy Settings:Input phase.

Open the generation tool interface. Input your primary domain name and choose your enforcement level. Beginners should always select the monitoring mode first.

    3.Add Report Destination Emails:Data tracking.

Specify the aggregate (RUA) and forensic (RUF) email addresses where you want global ISPs to send XML performance data. This ensures you gain full visibility into malicious activity.

4.Publish to Your DNS Zone:Live deployment.

Copy the generated string text. Log into your domain registrar (like GoDaddy or Namecheap) and create a new TXT Record with the host name _dmarc and paste your new value.

    Understanding the Three DMARC Policies

When configuring your tool settings, you must specify a policy variable. This specific setting determines how strict your system will be when unauthenticated messages are caught.

    • None (p=none): This is purely a monitoring policy. The email is delivered normally to the recipient, but a report is logged. It serves as an excellent starting point to safely gather data without blocking legitimate mail.
    • Quarantine (p=quarantine): If an email fails authentication checks, receiving servers will immediately redirect the message away from the inbox. Instead, it gets sent directly to the recipient’s spam or junk folder.
    • Reject (p=reject): This represents maximum security enforcement. Any email failing authentication is blocked entirely at the server level. The intended recipient never receives it, effectively stopping spoofing in its tracks.

The Long-Term Benefits of Email Authentication

Implementing an authenticated protocol delivers substantial long-term value to your organization. Firstly, it aggressively shields your customers from devastating phishing attacks that hijack your brand identity. Secondly, it drastically improves your overall sender score. Because major mailbox providers favor authenticated senders, your legitimate marketing and transactional emails will enjoy a higher success rate of hitting the primary inbox instead of slipping into junk filters.
